I've been reading about an in-camera effect with my zoom lens. Set up a long exposure, and use the zoom to change the focal length while the shutter is open. I've seen some really great photographs using it. Another great reason to shoot in digital; with film, it'd be really expensive to perfect. I must've taken 50 or so shots on this day. I think this one went from 18mm in to about 35mm.
