A locally famous photographer named
Deck Lane is in my family tree. My folks have one of his shots at home that will become mine someday. Once I found out it was taken by a family member, I liked it even more. Like him, I'm largely self-taught, but digital makes it far less expensive to do so nowadays.

Thanks. Upon further review, it violates the rule of thirds horribly, but the varying textures of the wood and tin roof and cirrus clouds help the composition considerably. This shot, I'm proud of. There was no digital darkroom work on this one at all.
