What I initially thought was a throwaway shot turned out to be one of the most vibrant from the night. Yes, the saturation is a little off because of the high ISO, but I still like it. Bright!

Despite the cooler temperatures, the typical Friday night scene of teenagers going to the movies continued unabated. Reston Town Center was bustling on this Friday night, though this photo would show otherwise. Patience is a virtue.

a warm winter's eve
Outdoor ice rinks are all over the place in Northern Virginia and D.C. We went to Reston to check theirs out. Crowded with children and parents, it was a fun hour-long diversion.
