and the winner is...
I think this may be the best shot of last weekend's photosafari. I did nothing to this shot after uploading it to my computer. What a difference a year makes in shooting this brand of flower! (ISO 100, f/9.0, 1/60s)
That is one hell of a flower, friend. Great depth of field. Your photography has a real sense of purpose, and I honestly think your work is inspiring. Keep it up!!!

question .... was this a point and shoot or did you use a tripod? This one I would put on my wall..smile
No point-and-shoot. I have a Nikon D60 dSLR. No tripod either; it was a fast enough shutter speed that I didn't need it. Thanks, Kim.
