up trunk

Interesting leading lines or textures can really make a shot like this. I love the contrast of the green ivy and the rough bark on this one. The bokeh bonus didn't hurt either.

goldilocks and the three leaves

It wasn't until I framed this shot that the lighting jumped out at me. The mid-afternoon sun hits these just right.

She called this one the best of the day. Do you agree?

the florida version of an ivy-covered wall

I'm not sure if this is ivy or not. The shot was similar; I had to try it with the new lens. Good bokeh on this lens, yes?

ivy covered brick, round two

This one looked best on the Nikon's LCD; unfortunately, not so on the computer screen. I adjusted the shadows slightly to bring out the texture of the brick and applied a slight tint to it. I quite like it.

ivy covered brick, round one

I took several pictures of an ivy-covered wall near the Falls Church Farmers' Market. This one was deemed the best by virtue of its balance.
