hardly unnoticed

Oh, hi there. I almost missed you gleaming on the curbside, attracting curious and lustful looks. Care for a picture?

escaping shadows

I've often tried to get a shot like this. I don't love this one, but it's my best attempt yet. I need to learn how to straighten out perspective so all the lines square up. I feel like that's a Photoshop trick.

Assumptions can never be confirmed without talking to the unknown subjects.

a busy place

Many tourists visit. Few stop to talk to the vendors. In thirty minutes, I didn't see a single sale. At least the weather was nice. (In the comments, opine on the color of this photo. Check it out in black and white on Flickr. Which do you prefer?)

high line vending

Subject matter was not lacking at The High Line in the lower west side of Manhattan last weekend. More street shots coming up!

My cousin's company bought this building to remodel it. Inside and out, it needs some love.
