No, this was not taken with any sort of filter on the lens. I color-corrected a bit in post, but this is a true reflection on the hood of a 1987 Ferrari Testarossa. (ISO 100, f/10.0, 1/200s)
It was a bright day with two red Ferraris. I had a lot of fun snapping shots of them. I really need to hit a car show sometime soon! (ISO 100, f/6.3, 1/1000s)
East German automaker Trabant made cars with two-stroke engines and 10-year waiting lists. Zero-to-sixty in 21 seconds: scorching! (ISO 200, f/5.6, 1/60s)
Framing photographs that are reflective really forces me to be creative. I don't want the reflection to primarily be me. It takes a little ingenuity and geometry to hide myself and make something more aesthetic. Case in point, my head was 3 inches from the hood of this Carerra in order to catch the blue skies and trees on Pennsylvania Avenue in the black painted mirror. (ISO 200, f/6.3, 1/13s)
