I planned on getting up at sunrise on our last day to get some shots of the lobstermen taking their boats out. Turns out sunrise is somewhere in the neighborhood of 5AM. My walk started at 7:30 instead, far later than I wanted, but still much earlier than the rest of the tourists.

On Friday, we took a bike tour out to Giverny in the Normandy region. Oscar Claude Monet called it home, and he painted many of his most famous works on its grounds. In homage to his painting style, I shot out-of-focus for the day. I have a mixed-media idea for the best of these photos. Here's just one of them.

Last time I brought my tripod on a photo shooting mission to Old Town and the waterfront, it poured on us. This time, my battery ran low with what would've been the best shot of the night. King Street Blues were jamming in front of an alley near the Torpedo Factory. I need to make sure my battery is fully charged when I go out from now on. Here's a long exposure, using a wall as a makeshift tripod.
