summer grillin'

The temps are turning cooler. Our 2010 summer was marked by plenty of Florida-like days filled with sunshine. On days where it dips into the 80s in the shade, it's just perfect for sitting on the patio and catching up with friends over a mojo pork sandwich and some grilled corn on the cob.

sitting on the dock of the potomac

Last time I brought my tripod on a photo shooting mission to Old Town and the waterfront, it poured on us. This time, my battery ran low with what would've been the best shot of the night. King Street Blues were jamming in front of an alley near the Torpedo Factory. I need to make sure my battery is fully charged when I go out from now on. Here's a long exposure, using a wall as a makeshift tripod.

leaving the shadows

Restlessness compelled us to walk around Old Town last weekend. It's been that kind of month that it's taken me this long to upload them to my computer, let alone post-process the shots.

bluegrass jam session

King Street Bluegrass picked and fiddled and and strummed and stomped and entertained the crowd. Soft focus and sepia-toned by Picasa.
